WOW! TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE!!!

Sorry I've not kept this up-to-date.

I thought once one of my kids was in school 'full time' time pressures would ease...HA!

The freshness this time of year is powder, attitude and hope.

The hopes of seeds, seedlings and the fruit(veggies) they all will bear.

Hopes of knee deep powder and/or the thrill of pointing them straight and feeling the wind in your hair at mach speed.

The realization that life just keeps getting better.  I will reach a milestone, so to speak, this next month.  One that I actually recall my own parents meeting.  I know it's cliche....seemed so much older as a kid.  I turn more introspective as 40 years approaches more b/c soceity dicatates that, nicht var?  (I actually recall the present I gave my mom for her 40th....purchased at Winnie's Hallmark at (the now defunct Wenatchee Valley Mall).  Black t-shirt with white writing that read "Over the Hill and Off the Pill".  WOW!  From my perspective at oh so near 40....I think that TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE!!

So, this has become more of a blog.....40 year olds are allowed to wax poetic, right?

I do thank you all for  trusting us to grow your food, your support in Giving Back to our community thru GMF.

Over the last 3 yearS YOU have contributed just over $600 to the community by buying groceries via us thru our Giving Back program.  THANK YOU!

Additionally, GMF has donated over $1800 in donations to the likes of the Performing Art Center, Mission Ridge Ski Education Foundation, WA Elementary School, Mission View Elementary School, etc.

So, yes, I'm looking over my life and the path that I have chosen a bit more lately......not a bad thing to do.  I am trying, like all of you, to do it the best I know how for everything that matters to me.  It is different for each of us.  Meaningful in its own way.  Bravo to be here....the alternative  is unacceptable.

Dried Herbs, Tea & Greens

Okay, so I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth.....
Busyness with other projects and the change of seasons has consumed my time as of late.
The good news is that the freshly dried batch of herbs is ready & teas are a brewing.
The ladies aren’t producing much because of the dark and cold. I am still teaming up with my neighbor, but his flock too (as all chickens are unless given artificial light & heat)are at low production. So, it doesn’t hurt to ask, but the chance of getting eggs is slim right now.
Until the PO changes significantly, I will only send out emails every so often, but you can order any time.
You can still get dried herbs and teas at Mike’s Meat and Farmer’s market.
Mission Street Bistro just got a fresh batch of teas! Smile
For your holiday planning....I will have greens, Dr. Suess trees, and pinecones available.
And yes, I have and can do special bulk or gift box orders. Depending on the size of order I usually give a 5 – 10% discount.
Giving Back: It is Mustard Seed Neighborhood Center through the end of the year. We are at $100.34! Thanks for your support on this.
