Companion Planting

I methodically use companion planting throughout my gardens.  Companion Planting allows natural pest deterring, promotes growth and flavor.  Inter planting also attract pollinators.

Companion planting is not for everyone.  If you like neat and tidy rows this may not be visually appealing.  It can look 'messy' - I like to think of it as 'cottage'.

However, you can also use companion planting by rows:  putting a row of tomatoes inbetween two rows of basil.

Companion Planting Basics - here is a basic list of plant's likes and dislikes.
